After finding my passion and career for many years in the Equestrian world, this sadly ended after a serious horse riding accident that resulted in a dislocated, twisted and snapped off femur.
The two years following were extremely difficult as I found myself unable to walk, dealing with the discomfort and the devastating mental effects of not being able to fulfil my passion and career of Horseriding, I eventually found a Pilates-based Physio. At the time my left leg was completely lost of strength, and all I could do was lie on a MAT, with the will to try to build myself up very slowly.
I had always enjoyed Pilates, and an Osteopath asked me if I had considered becoming a Pilates Instructor, as it was a career where I could help others.
After realising the impact that Pilates had on my recovery, and having empathy to help others who may be going through injury, pain or even just a desire to feel better about themselves, my journey to become a Pilates instructor began, and I have never looked back.
